Medical Equipment and Consumer Goods Plant was founded in the early 1990’sas a subsidiary of Khrunichev Space Center. The main goal of the company’s creation was the application of modern space technologies and experience for manufacturing high quality advanced health care products. There was an existing, unique technological manufacturing and scientific research base, and the many years of experience of the company personnel in the aerospace field. This allowed Khrunichev to complete research and development, design and to begin manufacturing of such unique medical equipment as hyperbaric systems BLKS - 301 М and BLKS – 303 МК very quickly. Khrunichev brand name medical products are well known worldwide. Khrunichev hyperbaric chambers have been installed in many hospitals and clinics within Russia. The company sells the chambers throughout the world. BLKS – 307 represents a new generation of hyperbaric systems. It has best qualities of its predecessors and new features as well. The new system offers capability of both hyperbaric oxygenation and hypobaric therapy applications. Computerized monitoring system (CMS) B – 001 was developed and successfully used for the purpose of patient condition monitoring as well as evaluation of the treatment efficiency and medical personnel guidance. The company’s hyperbaric products have received praise within the medical community. The products have been certified according to local and international standards. They have been recommended for use in medical organizations.
